We wish we could say we came from a long line of toolmakers. Truth is, Bosse tools began with a hunch. A radical notion that humble garden tools could be smarter. Smarter in design, smarter in function. We took this spark of an idea with some brilliant insight from professors at Loyola Marymount University and worked up some prototypes. After our own initial tests, we put the tools in the hands of bio-medical researchers at Arizona State University and asked them to prove our hypothesis. The results were not only validating, but significant.
We had a product that could make a difference for a lot of people. Once we knew our theory was solid, we went to work testing the commercial viability of an ergonomic shovel. Our Kickstarter campaign was a runaway success, netting over $64,000 in 40 days and earning us recognition in Popular Science Magazine as one of 2014’s Top Ten New Products. Now with our rotational and ergonomic patented handles, we are ready to let the world know we have a better way to handle tool
