The Israeli military claims its troops are fighting against Hamas “in a certain part” of Gaza City’s Al-Shifa Hospital. Hamas claims Israeli tanks have entered the hospital complex and Israeli soldiers and commandos “are inside the emergency and reception buildings”. Gaza’s health ministry told Al Jazeera that Israeli troops are searching the basement of Al Shifa hospital. Hamas said it “holds Israel and President Biden fully responsible for the occupation army’s raid of the Al Shifa medical complex“.
