Initially conceived as the soundtrack to ’The Equestrian Vortex’, the film-within-a-film around which Berberian Sound Studio unfolds, the soundtrack would eventually spill outwards to encapsulate the entire world Peter Strickland had created and populated with eccentric, magnetic characters.
