BALCONYTV DUBLIN 23/02/2009 IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE 12 POINTS JAZZ FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY TOM MILLETT ALBATROSH is a norwegian duo consisting of two young jazz musicians; André Roligheten (saxophones) & Eyolf Dale (piano). Both of the 22-year old musicians are jazz/impro students, accordingly at the jazz departments in Trondheim & Oslo. Their music is based of the improvised expression created, bound into their own compositions. The focus is placed in an acoustic setting, and they try to explore the possibilities of this lineup - working with different roles, expressions and sounds.. Hope you will enjoy the music!
