SRT KTM rider Steward Baylor captured the overall win at the Lead Belt National Enduro in Park Hills, Missouri, on September 17. Baylor edged out his brother Grant by 43 seconds to take the win.
Grant, on the KR4 Arrive-n-Ride Husqvarna, actually held the overall lead after the first three tests but faltered in the remaining three. Steward took full advantage by winning those final three tests and capturing the overall victory. The win was a big one for Stewart as it gave him nine valuable points on championship leader Thad Duvall, who took third.
Duvall was riding with an injured wrist, which he suffered during the first day of competition at the ISDE a few weeks ago. Duvall now leads Steward Baylor by just seven points with two rounds left in the 2017 Kenda AMA National Enduro Championship.
