Desktop Operating Systems Since 1978

Creating this #datavisualisation was a rollercoaster ride of memories. It’s crazy how quickly things change. I’ve used nearly every version of #Windows and Mac OS out there, and for a few years, I was a die-hard Linux fan. Smartphones have changed the way we use technology, but there are still many tasks that are much easier to perform on a desktop computer. For me, the most astonishing aspect is the pace of change, and the subtlety with which it often creeps up without us noticing. What are your thoughts?
