Liberty Mutual Insurance Presents Gustavo Hermoza’s American Story

Gustavo Hermoza left his home in Lima, Peru to come to the United States over 25 years ago to pursue an education in America. Although he had plans to go back to Peru after he received his degree, his mother had different plans for him and wanted him to seize the opportunities that come with being in the United States. Gustavo challenged himself to be successful in his adopted homeland, and it paid off. He finished high school and college, and worked his way up from starting as a dishwasher at a restaurant
