Rani - A Female Dog Rescued From a Drainage | Guardians Of All Voiceless Animals

Rani was laying in drainage, thousands of flies covered her face, maggots had eaten most of her face, probably her eyes as well. The rest of her face was covered with flies eggs. We rescued over 50 animals today, and out of those 50, Rani has broken our hearts. After a long and tiring day, we were about go home then received call about Rani. She was laying deep down in the drainage-she was all waiting to DIE. We picked her, brought her immediately to our shelter. Her eyes, body was covered with flies and laid eggs. We cleaned her, started her IV fluid, cleaned her wounds, removed maggots. We also provided her with painkiller and antibiotic. She had some liquid food after treatment. We don’t know if she will live, but at least she won’t die alone on the roads, unloved and alone. Today we treated her again and she had a little food. She’s confused and quiet but at least her pain is greatly improved. We are trying our best for her.
