Full title reads: “Hastings. Sea! ... Sea!! ... thou mighty monster! Giant waves lashed to fury by nearly 100 mile an hour gale, make majestic spectacle to eye & ear.“ Hastings, East Sussex. Massive waves lash the sea front at Hastings. Water crashes up in the air as the sea batters the sea wall. A few hardy people are walking along the promenade to watch the waves. Good shots of the waves with the pier in the background. The waves are so high that at one point they are washing over onto the road.
