How to make Lord Kelvin’s Thunderstorm -- Electrostatic Battery

It’s easy to make a battery that generates about 20,000 volts of electricity from common items and a source of dripping water. Called Lord Kelvin’s Thunderstorm after its inventor, the battery never ceases to amaze people that water drops can cause sparks to jump more than 5 mm.
