US X-37B Spaceplane lands after record-breaking 718 days in space (OTV-4)
The unmanned, reusable US Air Force’s X-37B space plane has landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida after spending a record-breaking 718 days in orbit performing a secret mission. The OTV-4 mission (Orbital Test Vehicle-4) was the fourth mission for the X-37B mini space shuttle. The goal of this mission was to perform technology testing in orbit, says the US Air Force.
