Pro street cars are not always built with drivability in mind. The owner of this car however built it so that it feels very comfortable on the highway. This Corvette started life as a 1978 Corvette Pace Car. There are very few traces of that car remaining today. The outside is finished in Meadow Green Metallic. The interior is Black and in excellent condition. The engine is a 355 CI V8 with a 671 BDS Blower and Hilbourne Fuel injection. The engine was built by Lorenzos Fast Flow Cylinders and was putting out over 600 HP before the fuel injection was added. A Turbo 400 automatic transmission with reverse manual valve body, trans brake and line lock transfers the power to a 9 in Ford rear with 4:33 gears and a nodular center section. A wildwood 4 wheel disc setup brings this beast to a stop and adjustable rear shocks and 90/10 racing shocks upfront keep the rubber on the road. The car is equipped with power steering and a tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The ignition is electronic MSD and everything is controlled by a Fast Systems computer. The rear wing is an aluminum custom fabrication that helps to keep the tires hooked to the asphalt. The wheelie bars look great, and they are not welded on, so they can be removed for a more discreet look.
