Giant Haystacks would be a legendary competitor in British wrestling in the 1970s and 1980s. As a true professional wrestling giant, Haystacks was known worldwide. Yet, in 1996 the Dungeon of Doom would bring in Haystacks to World Championship Wrestling. Billed at standing 6’11 and weighing 685 pounds, Haystacks was a huge competitor. His size and professional wrestling history made him the perfect addition to the heel Dungeon of Doom. Yet, instead of embracing his worldwide Giant Haystacks gimmick, in WCW he would be Loch Ness. Seems WCW really enjoyed the idea of giant wrestlers with sea-related gimmicks, as they also turned former WWE star Earthquake into Shark.
