When I was growing up every drum magazine had a man on it. I don’t think I was able to name a female drummer until I was 5 years into my drumming journey. Today everything has changed. Women feel empowered to play the drums despite the once popular societal views that women are not made to play. I created this video to showcase some of the most talented hard working women in drumming. I hope this video inspires future generations of female drummers to raise the bar in the drumming community.
