Here’s a repeat airing of the animated cartoon special “Halloween Is Grinch Night“ (originally aired on October 29th 1977), as rebroadcast over the ABC Network via its Chicago O&O WLS Channel 7. This, a sequel to Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,“ features Hans Conreid as both the Grinch and the narrator; the title character in this tale, out to cause grave harm on a rainy Halloween, is confronted by a kid named Eucariah. Music was by Joe Raposo (of Sesame Street, The Electric Company and Three’s Company fame).
