MOFA: China urges both sides of South Sudan’s conflict to stop violence immediately

China has called for a thorough investigation and punishment for perpetrators following an attack on a group of Chinese UN peacekeepers who were carrying out missions in Juba, South Sudan, as per the Foreign Ministry. China also urged both sides involved in the violence to stop the conflict immediately and strictly implement the peace agreement. More than 200 people are reported to have died in clashes since Friday.
