ICYMI: German Police Probe Nazi Salutes At Oktoberfest Local media reports that Saxony authorities are looking into Oktoberfest video footage showing attendees throwing the Nazi salute. According to the Bild tabloid, one of the men in the video made the gesture as many as 14 times in around 16 seconds. Under the German Criminal Code, the “use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations,” which includes the Nazi salute, is punishable by up to three years behind bars or a fine.
