Trawling - Out-Takes Reel 3 (1940-1949)

Unedited material - some of these shots are used in the film “Trawling.“ Reel 3. Large reel - M/S of five fishermen on deck lowering baskets of fish into the hold. C/U of a box full of fish. L/S of the harbour - fishing boats in foreground. Other angles of the harbour with quayside on left and small boats in the foreground. C/U of fishing boat “Jacqueline“ being pulled on a rope - presumably just come into the harbour and being tied up. C/U of rope being attached to a cleat on the quayside. C/U of the boat, the fishermen work on deck handing up ropes for securing the boat. Shot from the quayside of men pulling down on ropes which lift a basket of fish out of the hold. The basket is swung out to the quayside and comes back empty. M/S of the man who catches the baskets. He takes the full basket off the hook and attaches an empty one. High angle shot of the fisherman standing by the hold catching and swinging the baskets. Low angle shot of the pulley system used to control the swinging basket.
