Cosmo Heaven: 1960 Datsun Bluebird P310 1200 Deluxe

During my brief visit to Kyoto in March I was lucky enough to see some some amazing cars. Boy, did I see some Mazda Cosmos and BMW 2002’s! Besides those, one car that truly stood out was this beautifully restored 310 Bluebird. I was not aware, but I’ve since read that the 310 was a landmark car. Just prior to it being built Nissan had upgraded its factories with the most advanced equipment of the day. It certainly paid off, because the 310 is the first Japanese manufactured car to be considered a world class car.
