A space truck carrying quail eggs for an experiment has been sent to the ISS The carrier rocket launched the Progress MS-25 transport cargo ship from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The ship’s journey will follow a two-day scheme, with docking to the “Poisk“ module of the Russian segment of the ISS scheduled for December 3 at 14:15 Moscow time. The cargo will remain in orbit for 179 days. During the flight it will complete 34 orbits around the Earth, and the journey to the station will last 49 hours and 50 minutes. It was reported that the ship will carry a special complex called “Incubator-3“ and 48 quail eggs for the experiment. The eggs will be placed in the “Incubator,“ and astronauts will monitor the development stages of the embryos. Later, capsules containing the embryos will be sent to Earth, where experts will continue their research. This experiment will contribute to future developments in creating farms to sustain astronauts with food during interplanetary flights. Источник: Slavyangrad
