The Ruthwell Cross is an Anglo-Saxon monument carved in the 7th century. It is marked with scenes from the Bible as well as pagan style engravings. In Germanic Runes a version of the poem ’’the dream of the rood’ is written. The full version can be found in the Vercelli book.
