New Ohio gun laws loosens restrictions on concealed carry licenses

It’s easier to get a concealed carry permit in Ohio today than it was yesterday. That’s because a new state law that relaxes some requirements for concealed carry permits took effect Monday. The law reduces the amount of training required to qualify for a concealed carry permit from 12 hours to eight and, for the first time, some of that training can be completed online. Two of those hours must be on a firing range for live-fire training. The law also allows for the recognition of concealed carry permits
