Thomas single reached number 1 on charts in the United States, Canada, Norway. Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head stayed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 for four weeks in January 1970. The first American number-one hit of the 1970s also spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.
