Legs & Co with Tom Tom Club - Wordy Rappinghood (Top Of The Pops - 9th July 1981) - stereo extended dance vesion. “Wordy Rappinghood“ is the debut single by American new wave band Tom Tom Club, from their 1981 self-titled debut album. It uses part of a traditional Moroccan children’s song and game, “A Ram Sam Sam“, made popular by the 1971 Rolf Harris recording. Written-By – Tina Weymouth (Martina Michéle Weymouth). Choreography by Felicity Isabelle “Flick“ Colby. Legs & Co: Lulu Cartwright, Rosemary (Rosie) Hetherington, Patti Hammond, Anita Chellamah, Gillian (Gill) Clarke, Sue (Susan) Menhenick. The original Legs & Co. line-up ran from October 1976 to 19 March 1981, when Pauline Peters left the group. She was replaced on 28 May 1981 by singer and dancer Anita Chellamah following auditions.
