UAE: Kalashnikov unveils newest AK-19 assault rifle at IDEX -2021

Russia’s Kalashnikov Group unveiled its most recent *45mm AK-19 assault rifle, made for Nato standards oriented clients, at the IDEX-2021 arms show, that kicked off on Sunday in Abu Dhabi.
The new rifle is making its international debut and is expected to become ’extremely popular with visitors’, according to the exhibitors, as it has ’all the modern features, that customers want to see on a modern fighting rifle“ in addition to ’the legendary AK reliability.’
The AK-19 was created on the basis of the AK-12 assault rifle, adopted for service by the Russian Army in 2018. The new gun is outfitted with a new diopter rear sight, Picatinny rails for mounting modern accessories and optics, as well as a telescoping buttstock, and a quick detachable flash suppressor to which a silencer can also be added.
