Baikal Ice Bikepacking 4k

6 days of bike touring on ice in March 2023. The ice this year was excellent and smooth, practically without hummocks. We had ridden from Bolshoi Godoustnoye to Olkhon Island and then visited Idibe pad’. We spent the night in huts, bringing with us food and sets of warm clothes in case of frost. The route was planned so that we could cycle at a calm pace, look around, take walks in the evenings, and also have some extra time in case of bad weather, fields of hummocks and snow. In Buguldeika we were caught by a hurricane wind with gusts of 20 m/s, we waited it out on land, walking in the mountains. Going out on the ice in such weather is extremely dangerous.
