Philosopher Daniel Dennett takes issue with neuroscientists who say that neuroscience shows that humans don’t have free will. In this video, Dennett demonstrates an intuition pump (or thought experiment) featuring a “nefarious neurosurgeon“ who lies to a patient with obsessive compulsive disorder.
