They can cut off your tongue, cut off your hands, cut off your hair, prepare soap of your body, throw your body into ovens filled with gas, put a bullet in your brain, a knife in your heart, never can they get to my Love for You, my Feelings for You, my Thoughts about You, my Ideas about this world of ours... Never by a weapon or unjust words and accusations can they kill the songs of your spirit, “the melody“ we keep singing deep down inside of us. Never by a bomb or a bullet can they destroy the truth and love you are inside of yourself to yourself. Never can they kill You, inside of me, by killing my body. And never by a sentence, a description who does not do “Us“ justice. “The Other“ can’t see “You“, as I see “You“. My Love! You can kill my body, never Us! What seem to be the most dangerous things we human beings can do on this planet of ours? To give Peace a chance? To stand up and work for equal rights for each other, no matter the colour of our skin or our religion? To address all of us and coming generations, and not just some chosen ones? To propose to turn the other chin if someone hits you, not to hit back? To claim that our problems should be sought out by discussions, dialogues with arguments, in an “open society“ with freedom of speech, not by weapons, not by war? This song is written in purpose to try to draw more attention to the ideas and vibrations of the people you sense in your heart when experiencing it, not only the exposed on the video. It springs from a deeply rooted feeling to fully respect Our Bodies, God’s gift once and for all times given.
