V-Ray | Simple RAINDROPS Effects | Procedural, No Particle Setup
In this tutorial you will learn how to create simple but nice looking raindrops which you can add to your models to get a realistic effect. We won’t be using any external plugins in this approach but just relay on the basic functions of V-Ray and 3ds Max.
You can use the shown techniques for many different situation, especially for adding atmospheric raindrop to cars or other objects. Using the shown techniques you can easily transfer this effect to all other objects in your scene while keeping your scenes light with an easy to handle and simple setup.
I am using 3ds Max and V-Ray 5 in this demo but you can also use the same techniques for older versions such as V-Ray NEXT and V-Ray 3.
