Lid of Me Granny’s Bin (Irish Nationalist Song) This song is a reference to people rattling bin’ during The Troubles to warn of an army barrage approaching. It was to warn active service volunteers of an incoming wave of soldiers as they attempted to catch the volunteers offguard.
