A business desk diary is seen in C/U. The pages are flicked through to show the dates. Narrator informs us that the leaves of a calendar are represented by a pack of cards. Over shots of cards being shuffled, dealt and arranged in hands the narrator tells us how 52 cards represent 52 weeks of the year, four suits represent the four seasons etc. Four men play a game at a card table and film ends with nice C/U of hands being displayed and a joker being placed on the table.
