Special - Hibernian V Aberdeen (1957)

Edinburgh, Scotland. Start of the Scottish FA (Football Association) Cup 5th round football match between Hibernian and Aberdeen. GV. Aberdeen kick-off, from right to left. Hibernian players have white sleeves. Wishart receives and tries a through pass, but is intercepted by one of the Hibernians, who slings a long ball out to the right wing. LV. The ball coming over from the right wing towards Aberdeen goal where Turnbull heads a beauty. Goalkeeper Morrison pushes the ball into the air and catches it as it comes down. Morrison kicks up-field to put Aberdeen on the move. LV. Hather with the ball beats his man but Hibernian player partially clear from Hather’s feet. Yorston tries a kick but his own team-mate Davidson stops the ball and boots from about five yards out. Wren saves beautifully but can only push it to Leggatt who runs in and puts the ball in the net. Aberdeen are one up. GV. Cheering crowd. LV.
