Full title reads: “London. Their Majesties’ Busy Day. The King & Queen receive an address of loyalty & welcome at Barking, prior to opening the King George Hospital at Ilford.“ Ilford and Barking, London. Crowds greet the arrival of King George V and Queen Mary by car. The National Anthem is played in the background. The Royal Couple don’t get out of their car, they are greeted by Barking’s dignitaries while they remain in their car. Shots of a man (possibly the Mayor of Barking) reading a speech from the King (who has been ill). This item appear to end abruptly and we never get to see Ilford or the hospital.
