UMBRA ET IMAGO - Zillo Festival 1993 Durmersheim /Germany

Dieses Stück Musik - Geschichte sollte die von uns hier hochgeladene Doku (Teil 1 ) ein wenig flankieren. Hier seht ihr die Protagonisten der Doku in Aktion!.. (Der zweite Teil unserer Doku ist in Arbeit - coming soon - sozusagen) Für Umbra et Imago war dieses Konzert der entscheidende Durchbruch in der Wahrnehmung der Szene! Jeder kannte nun diese schräge Band im Lande und darüber hinaus! Deshalb ist es ein Schlüsselkonzert. Umbra et Imago, angestachelt vom Frontmann Mozart, bringt radikale Anarchie auf die Bühne. Alles wird in Frage gestellt, - Szene, Klischees, Attitüden, Sexualität, und nicht zu vergessen, Eigenironie war Pflicht ! Goth Punk, wie immer es auch genannt wird, es war Verwegen und Frech - voller Kraft der Jugend. Der aufmerksame Zuschauer wird schnell erkennen, das diese Chaos - Talente zu der damaligen Zeit das Publikum völlig überfordert haben! Köstlich! Epilog: Es mag den einen oder anderen interessieren!? Mozart hat dieses Festival mit dem damaligen Zillo Chef Easy Ettler von Anfang an mit organisiert. Aber weil der Easy als schräger Sparstrumpf bekannt war, hat er Mozart statt eine Gewinnbeteiligung - den Umbra’s den Opener Gig beim Festival angeboten. Mozart konnte nach langen zähen Verhandlungen dann den Platz 3 in der Reihenfolge raushauen! Erst später war klar der Gig war wertvoller als die Kohle! Wie gesagt, erst später.. (Part two of our documentary is currently in the works - coming soon! ) This concert was the defining breakthrough for Umbra Et Imago in the eyes of the goth scene! Now everyone in the nation - and beyond - knew about this cooky band! Thus it is a key concert. Umbra Et Imago, fired up by lead singer Mozart, brings a sort of radical anarchy to the stage. Questioning everything - the scene, clichees, attitude, sexuality, and don’t forget, self-irony was mandatory! Goth Punk, or however you want to call it, was audacious and bold - full of youthful vigour. The attentive watcher will notice that these chaotic talents overwhelmed the audience of the time greatly! Delicious! Epiologue: It may interest some of you. Mozart organised this festical with the thn Zillo boss Easy Ettler from the beginning. But since Easy was known as a crazy tightwad, instead of sharing the profits with Mozart he offered him the opening slot at the festival. After long and dreary negotations, Mozart managed to secure the third place! In hindsight, it turned out thatthis gag had turned out to be far more valuable than money! In hindsight, though.
