Item title reads - The Flying Finn. Before 40,000 people Nurmi easily defeats champion Indian runners in 3 mile race and makes new world record. Los Angeles, USA (.). M/S of native American Indians in their head-dresses, their runners come up and they all shake hands. M/S as the race begins. L/S as they race around the course, M/S of Paavo Nurmi passing the other runners, the camera stays with him as he takes the lead. M/S in slow motion as they all race towards the finish line. M/S normal speed as Nurmi runs across the line followed by the others. C/U of him looking off-screen. (Note: this first section is tinted mauve.)
