DIY Sailboat Money Box. Are you looking for coastal/ beach theme home decor idea? I was. And, I stumbled upon this sailing boat piece on the internet. That was purely home accessories piece. I like the design and all little things around this mini boat. But, I want to make it useful instead of just something for display. After a little bit of thinking on the structure and steps to make the boat, I’ve decided to make this tiny boat as money box/ coin box. I love how it turns out and it functioning well. I think it would be great for a gift. Thumbs up to the artist who first design this boat. You’ll see in this video that I wrap the cardboard with homemade clay because I want to have hard/ sturdy boat. But, for faster craft, you can skip that and paint the cardboard straight away after covering it with paper towel.
