A Yemeni-Houthi Military Exercise Simulates Invasion of Southern Israel, Takeover of City of Dimona

Al-Masirah TV (Houthis-Yemen) aired on March 10, 2024 footage from a Houthi military exercise simulating the invasion of southern Israel. The exercise was named “Jerusalem is Our Land of the Prophet Muhammad’s Night Journey.“ The video shows masked Houthi soldiers using drones and tanks to attack Israeli, American, and British military bases. They drive up to a base riding in pickup trucks, invade it, and take a soldier who was sitting behind a desk captive. Then they invade the city of Dimona, by detonating explosives at the wall surrounding the city. The fighters enter the city, going from house to house, simulating shooting inhabitants. A masked fighter says: “Allah willing, we will implement this in reality in occupied Palestine.” A poster of Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee is seen riddled with bullets, another poster of U.S. President Biden is thrown on the ground. The fighters trample an Israeli flag and shout: “Allah willing the Yemeni Mujahideen will purify the holy land from the filth of the Jews, the Zionists, the Americans, and the British.” They chant the Houthi slogan: “Allah Akbar! Death to America! Death to Israel! Curses upon the Jews! Victory to Islam!” At the beginning of the video, a group of Houthi officers, along with Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, a member of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, can be seen directing the course of the drill on a sand table.
