Putin demands boosting arms production, saying Russian weapons ’efficient’ against NATO’s in Ukraine

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin made the remarks Tuesday on a meeting with heads of Russia’s defense industries at the Kremlin. He meanwhile underlined that Russia needs to enhance its arms production capacity. Putin’s statements came as Russia-controlled Donetsk and Luhansk regions announced that they will start voting later this week for the territories to become part of Russia. US NSA advisor Jake Sullivan immediately condemned Russia’s planned “sham referendum“, a stance followed by major US allies including UK’s Liz Truss and France’s Emmanuel Macron. __________________ Powered by Shanghai Media Group, ShanghaiEye focuses on producing top-quality content for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.
