Coming in at around 45lbs, the Mondraker Crafty RR SL is claimed to be the lightest full power eBike on the market. We certainly haven’t tested a lighter one yet. It also takes the cake as the most expensive eMTB we’ve tested. With full Fox Factory Kashima, Shimano XTR and SRAM AXS components, this 160mm/150mm 29er no expense is spared on the build or aesthetic vibe on this baller bike. But, fancy parts and beautiful lines don’t always mean it’s the best bike for the job, so let’s take a look at what this bike does well, and where it has some shortcomings.
The Mondraker Crafty Carbon RR SL is a solid bike in the right terrain and can be an absolute blast, but can also leave a little to be desired for certain riders on rougher, square-edge terrain.
We’d like to thank the folks at Fly Rides USA for sending this bike our way to review. Be sure to check them out if you are in the market for an eBike as they’ve got a huge selection from a number of brands.
