This was recorded 53 years ago on a small portable tape recorder by USA serviceman and DJ, Paul Drake of AFN Stuttgart, who since then has been a life long friend and resides in Chicago .“Me and the Others“ ,were band leader and drummer Pete Dawkins (,. bass Gary Thain (.) Vox organ and guitar Paul Muggleston and myself Dave Chapman lead . we all set off on an adventure from New Zealand to UK early 1966 and gigged all over Britain,Scotland ,Munich and Stuttgart and we had a blast ! to this day Gary still has a big following and I want to share this with everyone. thanks to all above who made this memory possible.
