Full titles read: “Human “Bikes“ - Winner touched over 20 miles an hour in first “pedi-cycle“ Cross-Country Contest.“ Paris, France. C/U of a man strapping some little wheels with a foot platform onto his legs; M/S of a line of contestants at the starting point of this ’pedi-cycle’ race on a tree-lines road; the wheel stand on the inside of the ankle and each man has ski-poles to help him along. Several shots of the race as the men zoom along on their wheel - it looks a bit like skiing; some men in bikes ride along behind the competitors. The men go along a forest lane and have to walk on their wheels down a little slope. M/S from the back of a moving vehicle of the winner zooming along - he looks very confident.
