How to make viking violin - morin khuur/tagelharpa

Making instrument inspired by mongolian morin khuur and nordic tagelharpa. For the sides I used maple wood, hand cut with rip saw I made some time ago. The front and back are made from spruce wood. The neck with the dragon carving is made from maple too. The remaining pieces (tunning pegs, bridges and tailpiece) are made from a piece of wood very special to me. I used piece of walnut I brought from Kyrgyzstan five years ago, from a country where I heard the morin khuur live first time. The general shape is mostly reminescent of the morin khuur, but the body is slightly larger and the bottom is rounded (like in tagelharpa). The soundholes are inspired by nordic instruments as well. Strings are traditional mongolian horsehair strings and bow I used is just a standard cello bow. Hopefully i am going to record more music in the future. In case you decide to make similiar instrument yourself, feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
