From the Opera Theatre of the Sydney Opera House in August 1981, Joan Sutherland sings the scene of Marguerite de Valois from the opening of Act Two of Meyerbeer’s LES HUGUENOTS. The two Maids of Honour are Beryl Furlan and Rosemary Gunn with Anne-Maree McDonald as Urbain. The orchestra in this performance is conducted by Richard Bonynge.
