Dynamic speed is one of the hardest and most important tools to have in sport taekwondo. Going from zero to 100 is critical for timing and scoring when sparring. The main focus of these drills is to start at a steady state, then blast through the footwork as fast as you can (almost to the point where you are messing up) with plenty of rest in between, and then hitting it hard again.
Think faster than your body can go.
