SANDWICH (from the album SCHATTENSPIEL) The idea for Sandwich started literally with a ‘walk in the park’. Earlier this year, the Joe Satriani ‘Shockwave Supernova’ tour had 3 days off in Boston. One of those icy, winterly mornings, I decided to walk downtown, grabbing a cup of coffee and one of these (actually pretty decent) Dunkin’ Donuts chicken salad croissants to go. While making my way through Boston’s Public Garden, coffee in my left hand, food in my right (and accompanied by the freezing cold tempe
