Named after one of ilan’s resident felines, the one-two punch of ‘Pooperling’ fuses together Spencer’s progressive sound with ilan’s infamous ‘tronce’ plucks, whilst the title track ‘Gatekeeper’ - a crowdpleaser from both ilan and Spencer’s gargantuan ABGT350 sets - continues in similar fashion whilst embracing more haunting elements. The EP rounds off with ’Steelyard’, a melodic take on the industrial techno formula, and a sought-after ID from Spencer’s set at the Anjunabeats Creamfields Steelyard show last year. Both artists will be on the road this fall - ilan Bluestone embarks on the next leg of his ’We Are The Universe’ tour across the US, as well as joining our all-star label cast on the Anjunabeats U.K. tour at The Warehouse Project, and in Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Brighton.
