Drop gender pronouns and clarity dies ’in the same ditch’ as common sense

Broadcaster Kel Richards says the dropping of gender pronouns creates “confusion“ and “a lack of clarity“ out of the English language, and if allowed to continue, “clarity will die in the same ditch with common sense“. “For more than 1,200 years, right through the history of English - Old English, Middle English, Modern English - we’ve had gendered pronouns.
