Two Years Living Alone in the Wilderness: Our Story of Learning from Nature
Two years ago, we began a journey to learn to live a life in perfect harmony with nature. A life caring for animals, growing food, creating, building and learning to live off the land. And in this time, nature has taught us more than we could have ever imagined.
We spent our childhood growing up here in the mountains, exploring rainforests, caring for orphaned lambs, planting trees and harvesting fruit.
Living in harmony with the rhythms of nature has taught us so many things. It has taught us to be still and calm, to love, and to give more than we take. It has taught us to to care for the land and each other.
We live and farm on the land of the Arakwal and Minjungbal People of the Bundjalung Nation and these practices of regenerative living, agriculture and permaculture owe their roots and theories to Indigenous knowledge — they have been practiced by Indigenous People around the world for so many years. We acknowledge the Traditional Custodia
