Vietnamese woman deported for trying to bring uncooked pork into Australia

A Vietnamese woman was refused entry at Sydney Airport after undeclared bags of uncooked pork were found in her luggage. She is the first overseas traveller to be deported under Australia’s strict new quarantine laws intended to keep the African swine fever out of the country. The woman’s visa has been cancelled and she is banned from returning to the country for three years.
