Bikepacking through South America Part 1 of 2

Part 1 of 2, this is the story of our journey through South America. Our expedition was completely unsupported; we carried on our bikes all we needed to survive in varied, and often remote terrain. Part 1 sees the team getting to know each other and adapting to life on the road. The majority of the expedition members were not seasoned bikers, lessons were learnt quickly as we journeyed south along the shores of lake Titicaca in Peru, then on to Bolivia.
